Week 22

21 Weeks

22 Weeks

How far along: 22 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 18. Whoa this is going fast =)

Total weight gain: 11 Pounds. I kind of binged a little bit this weekend because today I started a whole 30/paleo challenge. My main goal with this is to really focus on eating well before the summer starts.  Once camp gets into full swing there will be a lot of tempting foods that I will need to say no to =) I also want to have a good list of quick but healthy recipes together before the baby comes so that when we are in survival mode we will have good options.

Maternity clothes: Oh yes. I just packed up the rest of my non-maternity shirts this week. It made me a little sad but I am enjoying the bump as well =)

Sleep:  Still just depends on the night. Some nights are good and some nights are pretty rough. I’ve also still been having some bad dreams so that doesn’t help either.

Exercise: Just 3 days last week. I started another 90 day challenge today though so that number should be 6 the next time I post =)

Best moment this week: I would have to say when a friend and I took our kids to the park in Steele.  We picked up Caribou coffee on the way, it was a beautiful morning, and the kids had fun. Win.Win.Win!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

Movement: Lots of movement! And it’s pretty visible now too if I am sitting still.

Food cravings: Those butter noodles are still pretty good. I won’t be having them for a little while though while I’m doing my challenge.

Making me queasy: Nothing comes to mind.

Starting to show: Yep!

Gender:  We’ll find out in 18 weeks. Any guesses?

Happy or moody:  Happy!

Things I've been experiencing this week: More abdominal pain. I can tell I am stretching out more and sometimes when I stand up too quickly I get sharp pains in my lower abdomen. Ahhhh growing pains. Too bad they aren’t because I’m getting taller =)

What I'm looking forward to:  Summer! The summer staff arrive in two weeks! I am excited for the busyness, the fun, and the friendships that are always a part of the camp life. I can't believe we've been here for 4 years now!

Size of baby:  A papaya.
