25 weeks and 2 days
How far along: 25 Weeks
Weeks to due date: 15 Weeks
Total weight gain: 15 pounds
Maternity clothes: Oh
yes =)
Sleep: I have been
sleeping pretty well besides having leg cramps most nights. We set up our tent behind our house and have
been sleeping outside for 4 nights now.
The fresh air is wonderful and it makes it feel like we are camping!
Best moment this week:
I will do a little recap of the last two weeks since it’s been a couple
of weeks since I have blogged. Last
weekend I took a short trip to SD to visit my family. It was so nice to spend time with them and
for them to be able to see and feel my belly!
Another great moment happened a few days ago. I was standing at the bathroom sink getting
ready for the day and Andy was in the shower.
If you have seen veggie tales you might know the bunny song. Well, Andy started singing “the belly, the
belly, oh I made the belly” I won’t go into more lyrics but it was pretty funny
and it made me laugh!
Andy has been able to feel the baby move but hadn’t actually
seen my belly move. Last night we were
sitting on the couch talking, and the baby was moving around, and then….. bam,
huge jab to my side… and then another one.
Andy’s reaction was priceless. He
was like “whaaaat, that’s crazy!” I
Love seeing the joy on his face when he feels the baby move and now when he sees
the baby move!
We had an appointment on Monday so we got to hear that
heartbeat again! So precious! After the appointment we registered for baby
items at target! It was a fun time to look at baby gear and think about
actually having a baby and becoming a family.
I can’t wait to have the baby’s room all ready to go and to snuggle with
our little one!
What I miss: Nothing really stands out this week.
Movement: Oh yes. It
is so great! As this baby gets
bigger and stronger I imagine it will be a little more painful.
Food cravings: Still Food! Still hungry allllll the
time!
Making me queasy:
Nothing
Starting to show: Oh
baby yes! I am showing!
Gender: We shall know
in about 15 weeks =) Any guesses?
Happy or moody: Definitely
happy.
Things I've been experiencing this week: Lots of leg cramps and some swelling and pain
in my ankles. My nurse midwife said that because I am on my feet all day the
extra stress is what is causing the cramps and not because of a lack of
potassium. It is also getting harder and harder to breathe.
What I'm looking forward to:
The continued growth of this baby and my belly!
Size of baby: A Cauliflower
