Week 27

 27 weeks

How far along: 27 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 13 Weeks

Total weight gain: 16 pounds

Maternity clothes:  I am loving them!  Found some cute two dollar tanks at wal-mart that are long so they cover my belly.  I Love finding good deals!

Sleep:  Not so great.  I am waking up a lot because of leg cramps and just to change positions.

Best moment this week:  Getting a couple of days off with Andy!  After 9 days of 12+ hour workdays it was needed!

What I miss: My normal ankles.  They are there in the morning but by the end of the day they are pretty swollen.

Movement: Lots of movement.  I think the baby likes to lay horizontal and push from my back to my belly.  Sometimes all the movement makes me feel tired if that makes any sense at all.

Food cravings: None really

Making me queasy:  Nothing

Starting to show:  I have been told that I definitely look pregnant and then there are the occasional people that act surprised when I say that I’m pregnant.  I think it’s pretty obvious!

Gender:  We shall know in about 13 weeks! Woot woot!

Happy or moody:  Happy about pregnancy and baby! Not so happy about being tired.

Things I've been experiencing this week:  Still leg cramps and swollen ankles.  Andy has been so great though and rubs my feet for me!  The last two weeks have been super busy here at camp.  In July we start off with family 1 camp and then go right into our senior high camp. One of my duties around here is running the sound and power point in the chapel so I put in some pretty long days.  Luckily I just had a couple of days off to recoup so I have been able to catch up on some needed husband time and some needed sleep.

What I'm looking forward to:  This has been a great summer but honestly I’m looking forward to the fall season and a less busy schedule and some time to just relax before baby arrives.  Fall is my favorite time of year!

Size of baby:  A rutabaga. Our baby weights almost 2 1/2 pounds!
