Week 30 and 31

 Week 29
I didn't do a post for this week but I did take a picture. It was time to ditch the green shirt so now you can see a few other things I like to wear.

Week 30
How far along: 30 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 10 Weeks

Total weight gain: 20 pounds

Maternity clothes:  Maternity Jeans, striped shirts and cardigans are my typical outfit.

Sleep:  Depends on the night. Sometimes I sleep great sometimes I wake up a lot.  One of my favorite things is waking up and feeling my baby pressed up hard against my belly.

Best moment this week:   I spent last weekend with Andy’s cousin Charity and her kids while her husband was gone on a mission’s trip.  It was a wonderful weekend full of relaxing on the deck, wonderful conversations, family time, and growing bellies (She’s expecting too!).  I truly cherish the cousin in-laws that I have been blessed with!

I passed my glucose test at my appointment that we had a week ago.  That was a relief.  The orange drink they gave me was actually pretty good!  Also…. Just saying…… I pee in a cup like a pro =) haha

What I miss: Doing various activities without getting winded so easily. I know this can be interpreted in many ways so take it any way you see fit ;)

Movement: So much! It is so wonderful! I have also been feeling baby hiccups. Soooooo cute!

Food cravings: None really but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches sure do make me happy!

Making me queasy:  Nothing

Starting to show:   Look at this belly!  I Love it!

Gender:  We shall know in about 10 weeks! Holy cow!   Any guesses?

Happy or moody:  Oh so happy! Especially when I got my baby Toms in the mail!

Don't these little shoes just melt your heart!

Things I've been experiencing this week:  I had a pretty scary dizzy spell on Saturday. I got a hold of the on call midwife at the hospital and he said that it is pretty normal to have some dizzy spells especially in the third trimester.  He said that if it happens frequently though I should go in.

What I'm looking forward to:  The family farm weekend! This weekend is the Sprenger reunion so Andy’s aunts and uncles and most of his cousins and their families will be here at camp. It is always fun to see everyone.  There are 4 of us pregnant (as far as we know) so it will be exciting to see more bellies and have some good baby talk!

I am also super excited for my belly button to pop out.  I think it will be within the next couple of weeks!

Size of baby:  A cucumber. Baby weighs more than 3 pounds now too.

Week 31
How far along: 31 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 9 Weeks

Total weight gain: 22 pounds

Maternity clothes:  They are great! I don’t know how I will go back to regular jeans =)

Sleep:  It still depends on the night.  It has been cool at night though so we have had our windows open. The fresh air makes me sleep soooo much better.

Best moment this week:   This week we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary.  I am truly blessed to have Andy as my husband.

This weekend was also our big family get together which was so much fun!  Remember last week when I wrote that there were 4 of us pregnant as far as we knew.  Well, we found out my sister-in-law Hannah is pregnant too! Babies are so great!

What I miss: Nothing comes to mind this week.

Movement: Oh yes!  This belly is a moving machine. I wish I could see what the baby is doing in there!

Food cravings: mmmmm  mmmmmm PB&J’s

Making me queasy:  Nothing

Starting to show:   I am getting rounder and rounder

Gender:  We shall know in about 9 weeks!

Happy or moody:  Happy

Things I've been experiencing this week: We are officially done with our summer season here at camp which means the summer staff are gone and as I’m writing this Andy and I are actually the only one’s here at camp.  It was a great summer overall and it went pretty quickly as they always do.

What I'm looking forward to:  Our friend Rachel Hass is taking our maternity photos on Friday.  I am so excited!  Also we are remodeling part of our house so we can have three bedrooms instead of two.

Size of baby:  A pineapple

Week 27

 27 weeks

How far along: 27 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 13 Weeks

Total weight gain: 16 pounds

Maternity clothes:  I am loving them!  Found some cute two dollar tanks at wal-mart that are long so they cover my belly.  I Love finding good deals!

Sleep:  Not so great.  I am waking up a lot because of leg cramps and just to change positions.

Best moment this week:  Getting a couple of days off with Andy!  After 9 days of 12+ hour workdays it was needed!

What I miss: My normal ankles.  They are there in the morning but by the end of the day they are pretty swollen.

Movement: Lots of movement.  I think the baby likes to lay horizontal and push from my back to my belly.  Sometimes all the movement makes me feel tired if that makes any sense at all.

Food cravings: None really

Making me queasy:  Nothing

Starting to show:  I have been told that I definitely look pregnant and then there are the occasional people that act surprised when I say that I’m pregnant.  I think it’s pretty obvious!

Gender:  We shall know in about 13 weeks! Woot woot!

Happy or moody:  Happy about pregnancy and baby! Not so happy about being tired.

Things I've been experiencing this week:  Still leg cramps and swollen ankles.  Andy has been so great though and rubs my feet for me!  The last two weeks have been super busy here at camp.  In July we start off with family 1 camp and then go right into our senior high camp. One of my duties around here is running the sound and power point in the chapel so I put in some pretty long days.  Luckily I just had a couple of days off to recoup so I have been able to catch up on some needed husband time and some needed sleep.

What I'm looking forward to:  This has been a great summer but honestly I’m looking forward to the fall season and a less busy schedule and some time to just relax before baby arrives.  Fall is my favorite time of year!

Size of baby:  A rutabaga. Our baby weights almost 2 1/2 pounds!

Week 25

25 weeks and 2 days

How far along: 25 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 15 Weeks

Total weight gain: 15 pounds

Maternity clothes:  Oh yes =)

Sleep:  I have been sleeping pretty well besides having leg cramps most nights.  We set up our tent behind our house and have been sleeping outside for 4 nights now.  The fresh air is wonderful and it makes it feel like we are camping!

Best moment this week:  I will do a little recap of the last two weeks since it’s been a couple of weeks since I have blogged.  Last weekend I took a short trip to SD to visit my family.  It was so nice to spend time with them and for them to be able to see and feel my belly!

Another great moment happened a few days ago.  I was standing at the bathroom sink getting ready for the day and Andy was in the shower.  If you have seen veggie tales you might know the bunny song.  Well, Andy started singing “the belly, the belly, oh I made the belly” I won’t go into more lyrics but it was pretty funny and it made me laugh!

Andy has been able to feel the baby move but hadn’t actually seen my belly move.  Last night we were sitting on the couch talking, and the baby was moving around, and then….. bam, huge jab to my side… and then another one.  Andy’s reaction was priceless.  He was like “whaaaat, that’s crazy!”   I Love seeing the joy on his face when he feels the baby move and now when he sees the baby move!
We had an appointment on Monday so we got to hear that heartbeat again! So precious! After the appointment we registered for baby items at target! It was a fun time to look at baby gear and think about actually having a baby and becoming a family.  I can’t wait to have the baby’s room all ready to go and to snuggle with our little one!

What I miss: Nothing really stands out this week.

Movement: Oh yes.  It is so great!  As this baby gets bigger and stronger I imagine it will be a little more painful.

Food cravings: Still Food! Still hungry allllll the time!

Making me queasy:  Nothing

Starting to show:   Oh baby yes! I am showing!

Gender:  We shall know in about 15 weeks =)    Any guesses?

Happy or moody:  Definitely happy.

Things I've been experiencing this week:  Lots of leg cramps and some swelling and pain in my ankles. My nurse midwife said that because I am on my feet all day the extra stress is what is causing the cramps and not because of a lack of potassium.  It is also getting harder and harder to breathe.

What I'm looking forward to:  The continued growth of this baby and my belly!

Size of baby:  A Cauliflower
