Week 20! Half way already!

19 weeks

20 Weeks 4 days

How far along: 20 weeks 4 days

Weeks to due date: 20! Half ways done already!

Total weight gain: 8 pounds

Maternity clothes: Yes! So comfy!

Sleep:  Not so great lately. I’ve been having some weird and bad dreams and my sciatic nerve has really been hurting. I need to get to the chiropractor!

Exercise: This past week I think it was only 3 days. I got in a 2 mile run which went okay but my sciatic nerve was acting up a little. I went to SD for the weekend to see my family. While I was there I didn’t do any formal exercise but we were super busy going from coffee dates to window shopping to lunch so I think success =) haha!

Best moment this week: It has been a week full of great things! Over the weekend we were able to have so many great moments! My sister and I had a much needed sister night which consisted of eating pizza and wings while watching a movie! So fun! We also got to meet a friends two week old daughter who is sooooo adorable and makes me feel super excited for our new little one to arrive.  I was able see my Grandma from Denver, go to my sister’s high school spring band/choir concert, and have breakfast with my grandparents. While we were there we also went to Cinderella and Olivia loved it! She had a couple of antsy moments but overall did really great! It was fun to watch her watch the movie. She had so many great expressions to all of the exciting things that were happening.

We had our ultrasound this week! It was so fun to see our little one!  The baby had their ankles crossed which was kind of cute to see! We didn't find out the gender and our ultrasound tech said that the baby had their legs super tight together anyway so she might not even have been able to tell for sure. We weren’t planning on finding out but knowing that the ultrasound tech didn’t know either made me feel a little less curious.

What I miss: Good sleep.

Movement: Oh yes! Such a fantastic feeling!

Food cravings: Butter noodles  =) Yum!!

Making me queasy: Not too much anymore. Sometimes Olivia’s dirty diapers still get to me but I have remained puke free for a little while now!

Starting to show: Yes, I am definitely pregnant!

Gender:  We will find out in 20 weeks. I am so so soooo curious though!

Happy or moody:  Happy!

Things I've been experiencing this week: A little impatience =) I am just so excited to have another baby around! I want to know if it is a boy or a girl. I want to know what they will look like and if they will look like Olivia. I can and will be patient but seeing friends have their babies makes me so excited for ours to arrive!

What I'm looking forward to:  Continuing to grow this little peanut and to enjoy the time together as a family of three before this little one comes.

Size of baby:  A small cantaloupe. Baby is 12oz

Baby #2 Week 18

Yes! It’s true we are having baby number 2! We are so excited to be adding to our family. The official due date is September 7th but we all know how not accurate that can be. I am hoping this one doesn’t go 10 days over like Olivia did. I meant to start blogging this journey sooner but here we are at week 18 already! So here we go!

Week 15

Week 16

Week 18

How far along: 18 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 22 Weeks

Total weight gain: 5ish pounds =)

Maternity clothes:  I don’t necessarily need to be wearing them because some of my jeans fit and most of my shirts still fit just fine but I have been wearing maternity clothes anyway =) They are just so comfy!

Sleep:  Depends on the night. Some nights are great and other nights I toss and turn a lot.

Exercise: 5 days. 3 cardio and 2 strength.  I didn’t do this category when I was pregnant with Olivia but I have made it a part of my lifestyle and want to keep myself accountable.  A couple months after having Olivia I started following the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge which has you working out 6 days a week. 3 cardio and 3 strength. I have been working out on average 5 to 6 days a week since and I have felt so good and strong. Throughout this pregnancy I have been able to keep up with the BBM program and will continue and modify as I get bigger =) At my first appointment with this baby I was 17 pounds less than my first appointment when I was pregnant with Olivia. I am so excited to have a healthier pregnancy and to continue setting fitness goals for myself.

Best moment this week:  Going to Beulah for Easter =) It was so great to spend time with Andy’s family! Also, I went to dinner and a movie with a friend.  It was so great to get some girl time in!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

Movement: Oh yes! It is so cool to feel that familiar flutter again. It was about two weeks ago that I felt it for sure and then it has been non stop since =)

Food cravings: Yep! Burgers! I want lots and lots of burgers! We don’t eat them very often and live 40 minutes from the nearest fast food restaurant (which is probably a very good thing!). About a month ago I went to SD to visit my family and literally had 6 burgers in 4 days. No regrets!

Making me queasy:  I have been doing well in this department for a couple of weeks now but in my first trimester I was in a state of general nausea and puked on 5 different occasions. One was because of a dirty diaper. I had to have Andy come change it for me!

Starting to show:  There is definitely a bump but I’ve been told I am still in the questionable stage =) What do you think? =)

Gender:  We have an ultrasound in two weeks but I am pretty sure we are going to wait to find out again. So here’s to 22 more weeks of waiting!

Happy or moody:  Happy!

Things I've been experiencing this week: Feeling more and more movement. I have even seen my belly move already. That seems early to me but I was sitting on the couch watching my belly because I could feel the baby moving and I know I saw my stomach move many times!
Olivia and I were watching videos from when she was super little. It was cute to see her laugh at herself and it was fun to see how much she has grown. It makes me so excited to have another one!

What I'm looking forward to:  Seeing our baby at our ultrasound in a couple of weeks.

Size of baby:  A sweet potato

Thanks for stopping by =)
