24 weeks

24 weeks
How far along: 24 weeks

Weeks to due date: 16 weeks. I’m curious if this baby will come late like Olivia did.

Total weight gain: 9 pounds. Down a couple of pounds over the last couple of weeks. Feeling good and healthy though. I’ve been focusing on eating well and am loving all the new recipes I’ve found.

Maternity clothes: Oh yes!

Sleep: Good and bad. Depends on the night.

Exercise: 6 days of bikini body mommy workouts. 3 strength and 3 cardio. Seriously if you haven’t checked out BBM you should! They are great work outs!  And they are free!

Best moment this week: The past couple of weeks have been filled with a lot of great moments! A coffee date with a good friend, a haircut, a couple of family trips to town, and great phone chats with my Momma.

What I miss: Nothing comes to mind

Movement: Yep! Lots of movement!

Food cravings: When we were in Bismarck on Saturday I had a hotdog from Samsclub and ever since then I have been wanting Samsclub hot dogs! They are the best! Seriously! I’ve also really been craving watermelon.

Making me queasy: Well the sight of someone’s upchucked supper right outside of Olive Garden certainly did not make me feel welcome to go in and enjoy my supper.  So gross!

Starting to show: Yep! I think so! I am bumping into things more and my lap seems to be getting smaller because Olivia doesn’t fit quite as well as she used to =)

Gender:  boy? girl? We’ll find out when the baby comes =)

Happy or moody:  Pretty happy but also a little emotional.  I heard a baby crying when I was in Walmart and got choked up. Not really sure what that’s all about =) Olivia has some breathing issues that have been flaring up the past two weeks so a loss of sleep and taking care of her has made me feel out of sorts as well.  Luckily we’ve gotten some more answers and reassurance regarding that.

Things I've been experiencing this week: Olivia has really been noticing my belly lately. She pats it and says baby =) She’s also patted her belly and said baby so I’m not quite sure she gets it! Haha!

What I'm looking forward to:  A few of my friends have had babies this week and seeing all of the newborn pictures makes me so excited for our little one to come!

Size of baby:  A cantaloupe

Week 22

21 Weeks

22 Weeks

How far along: 22 Weeks

Weeks to due date: 18. Whoa this is going fast =)

Total weight gain: 11 Pounds. I kind of binged a little bit this weekend because today I started a whole 30/paleo challenge. My main goal with this is to really focus on eating well before the summer starts.  Once camp gets into full swing there will be a lot of tempting foods that I will need to say no to =) I also want to have a good list of quick but healthy recipes together before the baby comes so that when we are in survival mode we will have good options.

Maternity clothes: Oh yes. I just packed up the rest of my non-maternity shirts this week. It made me a little sad but I am enjoying the bump as well =)

Sleep:  Still just depends on the night. Some nights are good and some nights are pretty rough. I’ve also still been having some bad dreams so that doesn’t help either.

Exercise: Just 3 days last week. I started another 90 day challenge today though so that number should be 6 the next time I post =)

Best moment this week: I would have to say when a friend and I took our kids to the park in Steele.  We picked up Caribou coffee on the way, it was a beautiful morning, and the kids had fun. Win.Win.Win!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

Movement: Lots of movement! And it’s pretty visible now too if I am sitting still.

Food cravings: Those butter noodles are still pretty good. I won’t be having them for a little while though while I’m doing my challenge.

Making me queasy: Nothing comes to mind.

Starting to show: Yep!

Gender:  We’ll find out in 18 weeks. Any guesses?

Happy or moody:  Happy!

Things I've been experiencing this week: More abdominal pain. I can tell I am stretching out more and sometimes when I stand up too quickly I get sharp pains in my lower abdomen. Ahhhh growing pains. Too bad they aren’t because I’m getting taller =)

What I'm looking forward to:  Summer! The summer staff arrive in two weeks! I am excited for the busyness, the fun, and the friendships that are always a part of the camp life. I can't believe we've been here for 4 years now!

Size of baby:  A papaya.
